摘要

This study proposes a novel peridynamic framework by introducing two-temperature thermoelastic models, including both parabolic (PD-PTTM) and hyperbolic (PD-HTTM) formulations for the first time. This innovative approach enables accurate prediction of thermo-mechanical responses in metals subjected to ultrafast laser irradiation, addressing the limitations of conventional methods in capturing non-local and ultrafast thermo-mechanical interactions. The predicted results are in good agreement with the experimental results. The characteristics and scope of application of the two models are analyzed and compared. The effects of laser pulse duration, laser fluence, and thickness of film on the transient thermo-mechanical response of the structure are discussed. The results show that the same characteristic response can be obtained by adjusting laser parameters. In addition, the thickness of film seriously affects the form of stress distribution. These findings aim to provide theoretical guidance for deeper understanding of ultrafast laser processing.
