摘要
Two-dimensional numerical simulation of the viscous compressible oscillating flow and heat transfer was carried out for an orifice pulse tube refrigerator (PTR) on the simplified physical and numerical model by using a compressible SIMPLEC algorithm code developed by the authors. The characteristics of some major thermodynamic parameters such as flow velocity and temperature have been numerically investigated. The working process and complex flow phenomena such as secondary flow and velocity annual effect in the orifice PTR have been displayed vividly according to the two dimensional numerical study. The simulation results also indicate that there is an optimum orifice radius for orifice PTR. When the PTR works with this optimum orifice radius, the performance can be improved a lot.
