摘要
Discrete dipole approximation (DDA) is employed to simulate the extinction properties of silver nanoparticles with different shapes. Four types of shapes of silver nanoparticles show a significant absorption peaks in the UV-VIS wavelength. With the increase of aspect ratio, the absorption peaks of nanoellipsoids and round nanosheets decrease, while the absorption peaks of rectangular nanosheets and triangular nanosheets increase. The location of the absorption peak is related to the shape of the nanoparticle. The silver triangular nanosheets are prepared and the absorbance and photothermal conversion properties of silver triangular nanosheets are tested. The absorbance and photothermal conversion properties of silver triangular nanoparticle are both higher than pure water.
