Theoretical analysis on new ejector refrigeration cycle

摘要

A new ejector refrigeration system (NERS) was proposed. This NERS has an additional liquid-gas jet pump arranged between the ejector and the condenser of a conventional ejector refrigeration system (CERS). The jet pump is used to decrease the backpressure of the ejector, thus the entrainment ratio and the coefficient of performance (COP) of NERS can be increased. The theoretical analysis and simulation calculation were carried out for NERS. The comparison between NERS and CERS was conducted under the same operating condition. For R134a, the variation of the new system's COP with generating temperature and backpressure was mainly discussed. The calculation results show that COP of NERS can be increased by more than 100% compared with that of CERS. Though more pump work is consumed in NERS, from the point of view of exergy, NERS can save 10%-24% input exergy and is of higher exegetic efficiency.
