The expression of Ezrin and CD44v6 in human breast cancer tissue and its significance

摘要

Objective: To investigate the expression of Ezrin and CD44v6 in human breast cancer tissue, study their relationship with the genesis, development, infiltration and metastasis of breast cancer, and analyze their expression significance and their correlation with each other. Methods: The expression of Ezrin and CD44v6 in all specimens was detected by SP immunohistochemistry. Results: Circled digit one The expression of Ezrin and CD44v6 in infiltrating ductal carcinoma (70.3% and 82.8%) was higher than that in intraductal carcinoma (44.4% and 50.0%), with significant difference (P<0.05). Comparing groups of breast hyperplasia (23.1% and 26.9%) with breast cancer (64.4% and 75.6%), the difference was also significant (P<0.05). There was no statistical significance between the groups of usual ductal hyperplasia and atypical ductal hyperplasia (P>0.05); Circled digit one The overexpression of Ezrin and CD44v6 in breast infiltrating ductal carcinoma had no relationship with age, but had some relationship with the size of primary tumor, histological classification, clinical TNM staging, and lymph node metastasis (P<0.05), but the expression of Ezrin had relationship with the number of metastatic lymph node (0.01<P<0.05), while CD44v6 had no relationship (P>0.05); Circled digit one In the group of breast infiltrating ductal carcinoma, they showed significant direct correlation with each other, so did in the lymph node positive group. Conclusion: The overexpression of Ezrin and CD44v6 had relationship with the genesis and development of breast cancer, also with infiltration and axillary lymph node metastasis. They showed significant direct correlation with each other, detecting Ezrin and CD44v6 in combination was helpful to synthetically judge the malignance of breast cancer and its potentiality of infiltration and metastasis.
