Synergistic Improvement of the Performance of Green Insulating Materials in Power Equipment

摘要

This chapter explores the performance optimization strategies and environmental protection modification technologies of green insulating materials for power equipment. For thermoplastic polypropylene (PP) insulating materials, the key technologies for improving their dielectric properties, mechanical strength, and thermal stability, such as chemical synthesis, physical doping, and physical field-induced modification, were analyzed emphatically. Meanwhile, the methods of obtaining propylene from renewable biological resources were introduced. In the field of epoxy resins, two innovative directions, namely dynamic chemistry and bio-based modification, were deeply discussed. Research shows that these modification techniques can not only improve the electrical insulation performance of materials but also help solve the environmental protection problem that traditional insulating materials are not recyclable. This chapter provides theoretical guidance and technical references for the development of a new generation of high-performance green insulating materials, which is of great significance for promoting the transformation of power equipment toward environmental protection and low carbonization.
