摘要
A catalytic combustion system was designed to deal with VAM (Ventilation Air Methane) in this paper. The experimental results show that the proposed system can realize a stable self-sustained combustion effectively at the feed gas volume concentration as low as 0.15% and almost no NOx is generated. It is found that cycle time, space velocity and gas concentration have significant effect on the system stability and the reaction rate. The system can operate steadily and part of the reaction heat can be recovered by the rational selection of these parameters.
