摘要
This study was designed to investigate the linear scattering properties of encapsulated ultrasound contrast agents (UCA) with certain size distribution. The influence of the concentration of UCA and size distribution of lung capillary on scattering of UCA was analyzed, and the phenomenon of UCA bubble disappearing acoustically due to ultrasound signification was described. The mathematical relationship between the scattering of UCA and B- mode video intensity was set up on the basis of B-mode imaging principles. The results of this study demonstrated that the variation of video intensity was the combination contribution of the change in local UCA concentration and the instability of UCA bubbles. The time-intensity curve modified by UCA bubbles' instability might be used to evaluate tissue perfusion more exactly.
