摘要

By studying the change of torque (or shear stress) in smart composites of two polycence quinone radical (PAQR) polymers dispersed in silicone oil with some factors, such as shear rate, temperature and applied stress, it has been observed that there is a correlation in change trend between both the current-voltage and stress-voltage curves, expressed by power function. it is worthy to note that the power index in some cases is about 3, excesses markedly 2 expected from common models. The maximum exists at about 120°C in the diagram of shear stress versus temperature; the conductivity and dielectric permittivity of PAQR have significant influence on electrorheological behaviors. These phenomena were tentatively explained in this paper.
