摘要

The sensitivity of a slot-collimated PIN fission chamber to gamma rays has been calculated by using MCNP-4B code. Based on the theoretical data and the measured 14 MeV neutron sensitivities, the n/γ discriminations for various configurations of the system have been obtained. The results indicate that the design of the system can meet the needs of practical measurements with n/γ discrimination of more than 5.
