摘要
A mathematical model for the multi-region and variable node PWR core was presented, and a code known as MRCPRS was developed by using the FORTRAN-77 language. It is a general safety analysis program with the module structure character and can be executed by using a micro-computer. MRCPRS divides the core into three regions in the radial direction, and six control volumes in the axial direction. The numbers of control volume can be changed according to the user's requirement. The fuel element could be either round or plate shaped as selected by user. The steady-state and different transient conditions of the core were studied and tested by using the code with two different algorithms (the Gear and Adams method). The results show that MRCPRS can be used to analyze the safety of PWR core.
