Robust demagnetization control of doubly fed induction generator during grid faults

摘要

Since the stator of doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) is directly connected to the grid, this sort of machine is very sensitive to grid disturbance, which makes low voltage ride through technology become one of the most critical technologies of DFIG. Demagnetization control depresses the influence of grid fault by accelerating the damping of natural stator flux linkage, thus improves the performance of DFIG. It is preferred with the advantage of that it doesn't require any extra hardware equipment. However, traditional demagnetization control method strongly depends on the parameters of DFIG. An improved robust demagnetization control strategy which merely needs stator current information is proposed in this paper. In order to validate the proposed control strategy, simulations have been carried out, and the results demonstrate the advantage of the proposed strategy.
