Review on Preparation and Application of Copper-Steel Bimetal Composites

With the rapid development of modern science and industrial technology, single metal or alloy is restricted by working conditions and the cost. It is challenging to meet the requirements for the current application. Copper-steel bimetal composites composing copper and steel have performances of the two metals and low cost. It has drawn worldwide extensive attention and been developed by many scholars for many years. This paper mainly concerned with the preparation research progress of the copper-steel bimetal composites. The preparations are classified by the forming state of the copper and the steel. Besides, the industrial applications of copper-steel bimetal composites are introduced for the developing status and the prospects of future development.
