Retraction note: Fibulin-5 inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma cell migration and invasion by down-regulating matrix metalloproteinase-7 expression (BMC Cancer, (2014), 14, 1, (938), 10.1186/1471-2407-14-938)

Retraction: BMC Cancer 14, 938 (2014) The editors have retracted this article due to concerns regarding image overlaps with another published article [1]. After publication, concerns were raised that Fig. 3B (Invasion vs. Fibulin-5) appears to overlap with two panels—Hep3B Negative control and Hep3B vs. Anti-miR-130b—from Fig. 3C of an article [1] published by the same author group. Additionally, Fig. 3D (Invasion vs. Fibulin-5 siRNA) appears to overlap with the MHCC97H vs. Anti-miR-130b panel from Fig. 3C of [1]. The authors have not provided a satisfactory explanation for the above concerns. The Editors therefore no longer have confidence in the integrity of the data presented in this article.
