Research on High Pressure Laminar Burning Characteristics of 1, 3-butadiene/O₂/He Mixture

A constant pressure chamber was introduced in this work, and was used to measure the laminar burning velocities of 1, 3-C₄H₆/O₂/He mixtures at initial temperature of 298 K, initial pressure of 0.5~1.5 MPa with a high speed camera. Comparison between the experimental results and the calculated results with USC MECH II was made, it shows the models can't match the experiments well, and the disparity increases with initial pressure, which indicates the model needs improvements at elevated pressure. Sensitivity analysis was conducted and it is indicated that the most sensitive reactions are those involved small molecules and those between C4H6 and H, OH radicals.
