摘要
For the purpose of energy conservation and greenhouse gas emission reduction, the Energy Conservation Assessment and Review program is conducted by the government of China. However, Energy efficiency (EE) evaluation is still a problem to be solved in this program. According to this requirement, the Multiple Indicator Comparison (MIC) method based on EE indicators is developed in this article. After a brief review of EE evaluation methods in literature, the MIC method is outlined by a chemical industry. How to select EE indicators and implement EE evaluation with selected indicators are introduced and described in detail. It is concluded that compared with other methods, MIC method is the most suitable one for EE evaluation of Chinese industrial sectors. Some proposals for further work of this method are also presented.
