摘要

Power electronic transformer (PET) has many merits as compared with traditional power transformer. Therefore, PET is the prospectively significant component in the future power system and renewable energy field. The single-stage PET topology can severely reduce the weight and volume of the system, and has simple control, but has fewer functions as compared with three-stage topology. Therefore, the single-stage PET topology is attractive for some applications that more care about size and volume. In this paper, different modulation methods are proposed for the single-stage AC/AC topology. Different modulation methods are unified by three control degrees of freedom. The simulation results verify the theoretical analysis.
