摘要
Fault and planned maintenance are both considered outage states in the evaluation of power generation systems. This method underestimates the reliability level of the system. To refine the reliability evaluation of power generation systems, a three-state model for power generation units is proposed, which divides the outage status of power generation units into two states: fault and planned maintenance. Under different system margins, generator units adopt different operating plans. This method can evaluate the reliability level of the power generation system more accurately. Given the application of energy storage, the reliability model of energy storage is established and involved in system reliability evaluation. Numerical results based on IEEE RTS-79 validate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
