摘要

The proportion of renewable energy in power systems is increasing. The volatility and uncertainty of renewable energy make it difficult to analyze the balance of electric power and energy. To fully take advantage of the adjustment capability of power systems and promote the consumption of renewable energy, this paper proposes a stochastic power and energy balance optimization model with cascaded hydropower. In the model, the power connections, hydraulic connections and integrated water demands of the cascaded hydropower is considered. A scenario-based method is used to describe the uncertainty of renewable energy. The proposed model is tested on an actual power system. Case study shows that the application of stochastic optimal method promotes the consumption of renewable energy. Besides, the proposed cascaded hydropower model enhances the adjustment capability of the power system.
