摘要
The commercialization of lithium (Li) metal batteries is largely hindered by serious safety hazards resulting from dendrite growth and huge volume change of Li metal anode. Herein, we propose a multifunctional oriented polyimide carbon (OPIC) fiber, polyethylene oxide (PEO) modified layer coated commercial polyethylene (PE) separator by doctor-blade casting to guide homogeneous Li deposition. Therefore, the deposited Li morphology becomes more uniform and denser. Owing to the improvement of the Li metal anode side, Li||LiFeO4 full cells assembled with OPIC/PEO@PE separators delivered a discharge capacity of 102.5 mA h g−1 at 1.0C after 200cycles.
