摘要
A unique oriented attachment (OA) crystal growth manner involving not only the nanoparticle attachment but also the chemical reaction between nanoparticles and ions in solution is reported. The experimental investigations and first-principles calculations support the dominant role of surface adsorption-induced chemical reaction in this OA growth manner, compared with the classical crystal growth mode.
