摘要
The pressure and liquid hold up of pipeline-riser severe slugging are investigated using simple slug flow model in the paper, including variable valve opening. The result of the simulation indicated that at the larger valve opening, the pressure difference is very high and gas/liquid accumulations present. However, when the valve opening at the lower degree, the pressure differences reduce and gas/liquid accumulations vanish. Besides, comparing with the larger valve opening, the periods of the severe slugging is lower. Computational results of the characteristic parameters agree well with the experiment results.
