New data processing method based on A biological model of compound eye-direction quantization representation in applications

Theoretical analysis shows that direction quantization representation is concise in description, easy to program, convenient for semi-dynamic maintenance and suitable for parallel implementation. In this paper, the direction quantization representation is applied to solve several practical problems and these show that direction representation has potential in further applications.
