Network management system based on active network

An active network based network management system is presented, it allows fast and easy deployment of distributed network management application by dynamic active code loading, and uses push mode instead of traditional pull mode in network management which make the network management environment more efficient and flexible, in addition it is a lightweight method and can gradually be integrated in today's IP network. The key issues in this system, e.g. security in active network and the management of active code, are also discussed.
