摘要
A new composite alloy with an unusual microstructure which was able to achieve high plasticity by controlling the instabilities is presented. These alloys show a promising combination of high strength, pronounced strain hardening, and large plastic strains under compression. The heterogeneous microstructures can put the brakes on several plastic or failure instability mechanisms.
