title = "Nanocomposite anode (Zn0.65 Fe0.2Cu0.15-GDC) for low temperature SOFC (300-570) OC",
abstract = "It has been studied that the homogeneity and microstructure of materials play a vital role for the development of low cost materials with better performance. Our research efforts have been contributed in development of low temperature, 300-6000C, solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) material and technology as well as applications for polygeneration. In our study, microstructural and electrochemical analyses were conducted. We found a series of new electrode materials which can run SOFC at 300-6000C range with high performances, e.g. a high power density output of 1000mW/cm2 has been achieved at 5300C. The electrode free from Ni materials were prepared by a solid state reaction and then mixed with doped ceria. The nanostructure and interfacial segregation of anode - electrolyte have been studied by SEM and EDX. The crystal structure and lattice parameters have been studied by XRD and also measured the electrical conductivity of the anode composite by electrochemical impedance spectra.",
