摘要

The melting mechanism of PCMs (phase change materials) is often complemented by a stable variation in thermal heat density (THD). Thermal radiation from a variety of sources may be collected in the shape of latent heat mixture during the melting system of phase change substances. Microencapsulated process shift slurry has significant benefits for numerous heat power applications, especially in terms of higher energy density with narrowed temperature scope. Melting heat transfer has inspired the devotion of researchers and scientists owing to its larger implementations of technological, industrial, and engineering fields. The present article examines the flow of nanofluid with the properties of carbon nanotubes between two stretching rotational disks continuously with the sway of magnetic field. The melting effect is also taken. The impacts of thermal radiation under the homogeneous and heterogeneous reactions with Joule heating are taken into account. The porous medium is incorporated in the flow phenomenon. The performance of single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) and multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) taking the base fluid namely (ethylene glycol-water) is investigated. The partial differential equations are reduced to ordinary differential equations by using appropriate similarity transformations. The transformed equations are subsequently addressed using the AGM method. The physical performance of flow controlling parameters via components of velocity and temperature distribution is elaborated through graphical representation. From the results, it is concluded that Nusselt number is increased for thermal Biot numbers. The heat transfer is improved 65% in the presence of melting as to absence of it.
