摘要
Laminar flame speeds of pentene isomers (1-pentene and 2-methyl-2-butene) at initial temperatures of 353, 393 and 433K and initial pressures of 0.1, 0.2 and 0.4 MPa were measured using a constant volume combustion bomb. Laminar flame speeds of 1-pentene are faster than those of 2-methyl-2-butene. The recently published model on pentane isomers by National University of Ireland are modified by optimizing the 1-pentene and 2-methyl-2-butene sub-models and the modified model was then used in the further numerical work. Further analysis indicates that the faster laminar flame speeds of 1-pentene than 2-methyl-2-butene is mainly because that 1-pentene produces more H radical while 2-methyl-2-butene generates more the H-consuming intermediates and CH3 radical.
