摘要

Kα emissions from partially ionized chlorine atoms were studied to diagnose energy transport in ultra high-intensity laser produced plasmas by using plastic targets irradiated at about 1017W/cm2 with 1-TW Ti:sapphire laser pulses. A population kinetics code with a bi-Maxwellian temperature distribution was developed to analyze Ka emissions. The experimental results were analyzed by the atomic-kinetic code integrated with a one-dimensional (1D) relativistic Fokker-Planck code, and a 1D radiation hydrodynamics simulation.
