Kinetic modeling on the effect of SO2 interactions on NO reduction during methane reburning

摘要

The effect of SO2 on NO reduction during the process of methane reburning was investigated kinetically in an entrained flow reactor. Results show that NO reduction begins from 1200K for both condition of lean-oxygen and rich-oxygen, and when there is no SO2 addition, NO reaches the lowest value 625ppm from original 920ppm at the air coefficient 0.8. Under the condition of lean-oxygen, the addition of SO2 inhibits NO reduction obviously, with the increase of SO2 concentration, the outlet concentration of NO and HCN is higher. Under the condition of rich-oxygen, the addition of SO2 affects NO reduction trivial, and SO2 addition only improves NO reduction obviously at higher concentration of SO2. At 1300K, with the increase of SO2 addition, the air coefficient for the lowest NO concentration increases.
