abstract = "Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) systems face various interference due to the complex electromagnetic environment nowadays. Waveform design offers a significant degree of freedom for interference suppression. In this paper, a spectrally constrained joint design method is proposed for suppressing interrupted sampling repeater jamming (ISRJ) and radio frequency interference (RFI). The proposed method generates phase-coded waveform and mismatch filter to suppress ISRJ while employs frequency notch for RFI mitigation simultaneously. The majorization-minimization (MM) framework is adopted to solve the non-convex optimization. The simulation results demonstrate that the design can effectively suppress both ISRJ and RFI, while maintaining a spectral constraint.",
