摘要
Based on the traditional large eddy simulation (LES) approach, explicit filtering was introduced, which effectively controlled the numerical errors in the smallest resolved scales. The conservation properties of finite difference schemes were studied and a scheme with fourth order accuracy was developed for the LES in 3-D channel flows. The 3-D turbulent channel flow was simulated using the traditional and explicit filtering LES schemes with second order and fourth order accuracy, respectively. Compared with the results from direct numerical simulation (DNS), the present results from the programs are fairly sound.
