摘要
Using pin-on-disc wear test rig equipped with acceleration sensors and precious noise meter, the characteristics of friction-induced squeal between the rubbing-pairs of TiNi/GCrl5 were studied. The experimental results show that the wear deteriorates the topography of rubbing surface, which makes friction force not only rising but also fluctuating acutely. The fluctuating friction force is responsible for the self-exciting vibration of tribo-system since it continuously supplies tribo-system with energy. The noise level of rubbing-pairs of TiNi/GCrl5 is lower than that of AISI-1045/GCr15 under almost all conditions because of the TiNi alloy's superior wear-resistance.
