摘要
Cryogen spray cooling has been applied to protect epidermis from thermal damage in laser dermatology. However, present clinical application suffers insufficient cooling capacity and non-uniform surface cooling. In present paper, the comparison research of nozzle type is conducted to investigate its influence on spray characteristics and surface heat transfer in cryogen spray cooling. The results show that the substitution of expansion-chambered nozzle or two-phase nozzle may improve therapy outcomes for their high cooling efficiency and precise cooling control.
