摘要

Nanostructured materials are generally considered materials less than ~100 nm in size in at least one dimension. They have found their way into surface engineering; in particular, in coatings prepared by thermal spray technique. Actually, nanostructured coatings are an extension of microstructured coatings developed in the last century. This book provides an overview of micro-nano coatings prepared by thermal spray technology, along with their applications in various fields.
