Internal strain and elasticity estimation of soft tissue based on interscatterer spacings

摘要

A new method was put forward to detect the discontinuity of ultrasonic backscattering signals by dyadic wavelet transform. It can locate the regular scatters and obtain the internal strain and elasticity distribution of soft tissue. The transient point detection method is robust. The motion estimation by using interscatterer spacing eliminates ultrasonic speckle decorrelation, computing complex and accumulated errors. The internal strain and elasticity estimation can distinguish the tissue with different Young's modulus with high spatial resolution.
