N2 - This paper investigates robust H∞ synchronization problem of general discrete-time time-delayed chaotic neural networks with external disturbance. Based on Lyapunov stability theory and H∞ control concept, time-delayed state feedback controllers are established to not only guarantee exponential stable synchronization between two general chaotic neural networks with time delays, but also reduce the effect of external disturbance on synchronization error to a minimal H∞ norm constraint. The control design problem is shown to be a linear matrix inequality (LMI) standard problem which can be easily solved by various convex optimization algorithms to determine the optimal H∞ synchronization control law.
