摘要

This paper provides a fundamental kinetic model for the oxidation of alloys in low-density supercritical water according to the atomic-scale corrosion processes. Foremost, a method for building models, which can predict the corrosion of alloys in nonconstant-temperature environments or with known film thickness, is proposed for the first time. By using the method and the measured-experimentally corrosion data of ferritic steel ASTM-SAE213-T22 in supercritical water, a fundamental kinetic model for T22 in the film growth rate with the film thickness and temperature at the atomic levels, independent of the exposure time, is built and applied in practice.
