Formal model of machining capacity for a machining system

Modeling of machining capacity is of great importance in servitization and virtualization of machining system. The machining capacity and related concepts are clarified, then formal models of function, performance and performance quality of machining system are constructed, and the machining capacity model is established in terms of the description of the operation of relation selection and natural-join, and analyzed by the relation projection operation. Finally, a case verifies the proposed models.
