摘要
This paper presents an experimental study of two recuperative-type counterflow woven-wire screen matrix heat exchangers that have the same cross-sectional geometric parameters and different lengths. Parts of thermal parameters and flow parameters of the longer heat exchanger (unit A) and the shorter heat exchanger (unit B) were compared in a temperature range of 100-300 K. The results show that, with a longer-length, unit A has the higher overall exergetic effectiveness and the larger pressure drop in the range of flowrate tested. Moreover, a heat-rate load of 293Wwith an overall exergetic effectiveness of 85% was achieved by unit A when the mass flow rate was 1.5 g/s.
