N2 - In this paper, the improved fractional sub-equation method is applied to the variant Boussinesq equations involving Jumarie's modified Riemann-Liouville derivative. By means of this method, the space-time fractional variant Boussinesq equations are solved and three types of exact solutions are obtained.
