摘要
An efficient calculation method is required in studying the electromagnetic scattering characteristics of complex plasma objects. Hence, we adopted the PLRC-FDTD algorithm and its application in a parallel computing model based on MPI and openMP to calculate the electromagnetic scattering characteristics of a plasma-covered metal under the conditions of various plasma features and incident electromagnetic (EM) waves. The simulation results show that when the frequency of incident EM wave is close to the plasma's frequency, the plasma's reflectivity is the lowest and resonance absorption is the main mechanism of EM absorption. Moreover, the EM absorption gets stronger with thickening plasma layer. For the incident wave with specific parameters, it is possible to control the absorption of EM wave by changing the plasma parameters so as to realize the active stealth of certain targets.
