摘要
The well-oriented multi-wall carbon nanotubes (MWNTs) were adopted as anode material in lithium ion battery to study the effect of the lithium ion intercalation and de-intercalation. The structure of the well-oriented MWNTs was characterized with wide angle X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy and scanning electron microscopy. The electrochemical properties were investigated by cyclic voltammetry and galvanostatic charge-discharge experiments in a three-electrode cell under a highly pure argon atmosphere. The results showed that lithium ion could intercalate and de-intercalate into MWNTs electrode and had stable cyclic behavior. The coulombic efficiency can reach 95.8%. After the first charge and discharge process, the reversible capacity keeps as 314mA.hg-1.
