摘要
For different contact loads and roll to slide ratios, the influence of the indented surface on the oil film pressure distribution and film profile during the dent travelling through the lubricated contact region is studied. Based on the analysis to the micro-elastohydrodynamical lubrication feature, the conclusion shows that when relative sliding exists between the surfaces, with the dent entering into the EHL contact zone, it is flattened gradually with the load increasing, while under the case of pure rolling, the variation of loads has no influence on the depth of the dent in the contact zone, the depth of the film perturbet cave is not influenced by the variation of the load under all cases.
