摘要
Objective: To study the effects of human telomerase reverse transcriptase (hTERT) on the biological behavior of glioma cell line in vitro in order to seek an effective way of controlling malignant behavior of glioma. Methods: Small molecule RNA interference technique was used to inhibit hTERT expression in T98G cell line. MTT, TUNEL and transwell methods were used to detect cell proliferation, apoptosis, invasion, migration and other biological behaviors when hTERT was inhibited in vitro. Results: Small molecule RNA interference fragment could effectively inhibit hTERT activities and the proliferation of T98G glioma cells (P<0.05), induce apoptosis (P<0.05), and inhibit cell migration and invasion (P<0.05). Conclusion: Inhibiting hTERT activities can effectively restrain malignant biological behavior of glioma cells in vitro, thus promoting apoptosis.
