摘要
The authors study the radiative heat transfer between double-layer plates at micro/nano scale, demonstrating the significant enhancement of the radiation flux caused by the near-field effects, which is much larger than the blackbody radiation limit. Then the authors attach the graphene layer to the metal plate and calculate the radiation flux between the new structure. It is found that the near-field effects are suppressed in the new structure, which is different from some other materials. Compared with the feature size of the structure, the thickness of graphene layer is very small, so graphene is considered having a broad prospect in thermal applications.
