摘要
The effect of temperature on the passive state of carbon steel in simulated concrete pore solution is examined. The mixed potential model (MPM) was used to optimize the Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopic data to deconvolve the partial anodic (dissolution of the steel) and cathodic reactions (hydrogen evolution). The results show that the dominant donor species within the barrier layer is the iron interstitial. The steady state anodic current density is independent of the applied voltage and increases with increasing temperature. The deconvolved cathodic Hydrogen Electrode Reaction current density is dependent on the applied potential and follows the Tafel relationship.
