摘要

The effect of cetane number (CN) improver on combustion characteristics of a diesel engine operating with diesel-methanol blend was investigated. The experimental results show that the ignition delay of diesel-methanol is prolonged and the maximum cylinder gas pressure of the blend is increased compared to that of pure diesel fuel. However, with the addition of CN improver, the ignition delay could be shortened and the maximum cylinder gas pressure could be decreased.
