摘要
Polyacetylene has been doped with PtCl//4 and H//2PtCl//6-6H//2O to form an electrically conductive complex. It is shown that doped films can reach the metallic level, as evidenced by voltage-short compaction measurements. Preliminary X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy results show that upon doping, oxidation of the polyacetylene chain is accompanied by a partial reduction of Pt**4** plus to Pt**2** plus and the dopant anion is a PtCl//6**2** minus for both PtCl//4 and H//2PtCl//6-6H//2O doped (CH)//x.
