Distributed charging control of electric vehicles in PV-based charging stations

摘要

The integration of solar photovoltaic (PV) system and electric vehicle (EV) charging station (CS) as PV-based CS is an effective way to accommodate more clean energy and alleviate peak charging load. This paper proposes a distributed control strategy for EVs charging in PV-based CSs. The proposed strategy is achieved based on a leader-follower multi-agent system, in which each EV only shares information with its neighbors. The simulation results show that the proposed control strategy can not only determine the optimal power allocation but also cooperate with the battery storage system in PV-based CSs to improve DC bus voltage regulation.
